As a family we have been sailing up here for decades. My other abiding interest is drawing musicians performing, observing how they communicate with each other and their audience through the music.
The experience of drawing and painting in the Foyer of the Barbican in 1989 was a novelty for me at the time. Different string quartets one after the other played all the Haydn quartets. By the end of that weekend I was hooked!
Since 2006 I have been Artist in Residence with Leamington Music. I have a solo exhibition most years at their May Festival in the Royal Pump Rooms in Leamington Spa.
