Life lines exhibition brings together Paul Zuckerman and Gilbert-Scott contemporaries Bel, Lou, Nick and Fee Sweeney. It is an intimate and personal response to the landscape, the history of our life here. The work makes tribute to friendship and family, paying respects to both the land and community.
The show comprises of paintings and of installations - which connect directly to the union of family - and pots made from clay dug from the marsh, all the work is grounded in a sense of place and connectedness.
The curatorial process reflects the values of the boat house, the DIY aesthetics and the inventiveness we have employed to show our work - we hope - complements the creativity and ingenuity of the boat builders, Max and John.
